Dysthymia disorder since childhood
Currently I am taking fluoexetine 10mg twice(morning and evening), amitriptyline 25mg +chlordizepoxide 10mg since 24days. I want to tapper amitriptyline and chlordizepoxide and add sertraline 50mg. What will be better either increase fluoexetine or add sertraline.

A Psychiatrist studies medical science for 8.5 years. Thereafter he has variable years of experience depending on his seniority. Pschotropics are one of the most dangerous medicines second only to anesthetic agents. It's my genuine advice not to fiddle up with the dose of psychotropics but to take regular consultation (at least once monthly) from your Psychiatrist. Chlordiazepoxide is an ADDICTING DRUG which should never be taken on daily basis for more than a month at an stretch.
