Dysphonia,Aphonia
My mom lost his voice for past 8 months .Doctors said that they need to test FOL topical but in the teat everything was normal then they said she need to take speech therapy.So we started for 2 months but she couldn't able to get her voice. Little but effect was seen during therapy but afterwards same position.Now we don't get the exact problem and cure for that .one more thing my mom is a paralytic patient since 9 years and she's having thyroid and blood pressure problem also.Please doctors its a gentle request to all ,please help.

Dysphonia plica ventricularis is when the function of the true cord is Taken over by the false cords . May be her paralysis is the cause but it has not been compensated into functioning normally . She will need voice therapy and if symptoms are persistent Botulinum injections by trained Laryngologist or voice surgeon . The diagnosis will depend on the video of the vocal cords
