I am a 19 years old male having dysphagia (difficulty swallowing food) about a year, sometimes it gets worse and sometimes it is better and during eating i feel my chest is heavy and wheezing. So i visited a gastroenterologist and a neurologist, the gastroenterologist suggested a Barium swallow and an Upper endoscopy which were both normal. the Neurologist did a physical examination and said that I have no abnormality in the nervous system (only with a physical examination without any MRI or scans) but also said that it is likely that the cause is that I was stressed and anxious, maybe he is right cause i am too anxious about my studies. So what is your suggestions? What might be the cause? Is it something serious? Can it be treated? Do i need any tests or scans? Should i visit an (ENT) specialist?
Thanks
