I'm 21 weeks pregnant.. this is my second pregnancy.. and the weight of the baby is 281gms.. my scan said "subchorionic fibrin deposition seen".. doctor has prescribed duvadilan 10mg tablet (morning and night) for a month saying that it will increase the blood flow to baby.. why is the tablet prescribed? is it necessary to take the tablet? Will it affect my baby in anyway? What will happen if I don't take the tablet?
Please let me know doctor. Thank you.

It’s absolutely safe to take this tablet during pregnancy. It contains progesterone, which will help the pregnancy to continue further without the risk for preterm delivery . The Dr who has examined u will know better if the tablet is really required. But there is no harm taking the medication if really indicated
