Dry eyes with excessive blinking
Sir, i am suffering from ocd. I am taking medicine sertraline 100 mg. But due to it, i am suffering from dry eyes with excessive blinking. Are all antidepressants cause dry eyes? Can you suggest me some antidepressants that don't cause dry eyes?

Thanks for reaching out. Excessive blinking is a response to the dryness. It'll come down when the dryness is managed. Dryness is a possible side effect but it's not so common with the said medication.  However, good news is that it's reversible. How long have you been taking it? Consider getting the dose reduced which should help. Talk to your Psychiatrist for additional evaluation for your concerns. Dr. Pavani Narukurthi MD Psychiatry MindfulTMS Neurocare Gk2 delhi
