Dry eye problem
Is dry eye problem related to vitamin D deficiency? My vitamin D level in blood is 20 Ng per ML and i am suffering dry eye problem

Dry eyes can be due to multiple reasons like thyroid, autoimmune diseases, local eye problems, digital eye strain( computer n mobile),too much AC , working conditions. Low Vitamin D levels also can contribute, but that is not the only reason

Hi..dry eyes are caused by the deficiency of vitamin A rather than vitamin D...20 ng per ml is the lower limit for vitamin D levels..In your case vitamin D deficiency is unlikely to cause dry eyes unless you have some gastrointestinal disease which might cause deficiency of both vitamin A and D...
