Dry cough for last 3 week
I had normal cough and cold 3 weeks back for which I consulted general physician and got meds. Now even after 3 weeks I have cough (dry without mucus) usually quite frequent in the night.

What you are left with is laryngitis with dry irritating throat. It requires larynx soothers. Avoid shouting or continously talking during daytime. Any thing which causes dryness of larynx like honey or hot water should not be taken.

Dry cough is due to throat irritation. Do warm salt water gargling 3 times a day for few days. If it does not subside then consult your doctor again.
