Dry cough and throat pain
I have dry cough since a week. I have taken azitromaicin but of no use. I did salt water gargling. Tried taking hot water steam. Nothing worked. Now my throat also hurts because of cough. Please suggest medicines which are safe during pregnancy .

I am absolutely agreed with Dr. Monika, that self medication can have adverse effects on your pregnancy. Kindly visit your gynaecologist as soon as possible before it further deteriorate and convert it into lower respiratory tract infection. Please be careful and avoid over the counter medicines and you have taken Tab. Azithromycin without consultation. Everything is going to be alright unless and until right precautions and actions ate taken. Regards.
