May be he is having nasal blockage with PND due to which he is mouth breathing which causes dryness. Nasivion-S(saline) nasal drops 2 drops in each nostrils 5 times a day. Tablet mucinac 600 mg one tab dissolved in one glass of water twice a day. Take plain water steam. Keep a humidifier in room at night.
