DRUJ injury
Hi, I suffered injury to left wrist (dominant hand) after losing my balance.Have not suffered any fractures but it's been 4 weeks that I am unable to do light activity easily, even when I am writing there is pain. Mri shows Small radio carpal and distal radio ulnar joint Fluid. Minimal focal synovial thickening at the radio scaphoid joint. No discrete erosion or abnormal marrow edema. Please advise how long it will take for complete recovery as am lefty and suggest treatment for fast recovery as I have lot of weakness and loss of grip strength

This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. However I would like to examine & investigate you  in detail. Control  Hypertension, Diabetes or metabolic disorder, if there is  any. Any way it may be tried, --. Dolokind Plus (Mankind) [Aceclofenac100 mg +Paracetamol 350 mg] 1 tab. OD & SOS. X 5 days. --. Caldikind plus  (Mankind) 1 tab OD x 10 days. (You may need help of your local doctor to get these medicines.) --. Fomentation with warm water. Let the part not be exposed to cold. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. --. Use no pillow under the head. --. Avoid painful acts & activities. -- .Do mild exercises for affected parts. --.(Take help of a physiotherapist or, visit my you tube channel 'ncgupta me and my yoga'.) --Do not ignore, let it not become beginning of a major problem. --Do ask for a detailed treatment plan. It should resolve with time and rest Wear wrist brace for 2 to 3 weeks with NSAIDS medication

Have you been splinted with a brace or a slab all this while ? "Even light activity is painful" is quite a significant complaint and can be quite nagging
