Pregabalin is an anti-epileptic drug, also called an anticonvulsant. It works by slowing down impulses in the brain that cause seizures. It is also used to treat pain caused by nerve damage in people with diabetes (diabetic neuropathy), or spinal cord injury. Stopping or altering the dosage must be only as per the treating doctor's advise. Please do not take your own decisions. If there are side effects; your doctor might change the medicine if needed.
