Drooling Problem
I have 6 months old baby boy. Since last month he is drooling too much. I consulted local doctor. He gave me formula 21 medicine for this. But this medicine is not effective. There is no teething happening to him. Kindly suggest any other solution for this problem.

Drooling is normal in the first two years of life. Infants don't often develop full control of swallowing and the muscles of the mouth until they are between 18 and 24 months old. Babies might also drool when they're teething. Drooling is also normal during sleep. The average age for the first baby tooth is 6 months, but some babies don't get their first tooth until they are 14 or 15 months old. We usually wait till 16 months before considering additional tests. As far as your above mentioned symptoms,it doesn't appear to be a matter of concern.
