Dressing a surgical wound

Asked for Male, 32 Years

I have an open surgical wound in the size of 2x2 inches. The wound is leaking a watery substance for the past two days after removing the sutures. My doc has given me chymoral forte to be taken 3 times a day. I would like to know whether I can use betadine oinment or mupirocin oinment while dressing it. Which one is more effective and aids faster healing. Currently using betadine solution to clean the outer surface of the wound and applying mupirocin on the same outer areas after wiping off beta
