Sometimes the lump comes after an injection which is known to happen sometimes when a tiny speck of skin goes into the muscle during the injection with a needle and a layer is formed .. it is a rare phenomenon but can happen. sometimes the lump takes long time to go away.. no ice pack or medicine will help now . I advise do not meddle with it if it is not creating any issues. But if without any intervention she has pain swelling or redness in the area. Seek immediate  medical attention.
