Albendazole tablets can be used safely during or after periods. It should be avoided during pregnancy and breast feeding.
Tablet may be taken with or without food and should be chewed properly.
Albendazole has possible drug interactions with drugs like estradiol, carbamazepine etc
Generally side effects are rare. Possible Side effects are headaches, nausea, vomiting and elevated liver enzymes
