Dog bite shots
HI... I completed anti rabies vaccination course on 30/9/2016... But today on 14/11/2016 I got a dog bite again on my lower lip while playing.. It's a little wound with bit of bleeding ... It's a 5.5 months old dog.. He is fully vaccinated.. Do I need to go for vaccination again. Kindly suggest. Thank you

no, you need not take vaccine again. the previous shots will work as pre-exposure prophylaxis in your case, till 6 months at least. and suppose a similar thing happened after 6 months post vaccination, you have to check your virus neutralizing antibody levels against rabies virus ,to be 100-% sure, you can opt for rapid fluorescent focus inhibition test(RFFIT). if you have more queries ,you can directly ask me.
