Does infection in ear need a surgery?
My son suddenly started ear pain and the next day morning, we saw there is a pus coming from ear ans we went to hosp and the doctor told there is a infection and recommend for a lab ear swab culture and sentivity test and follow up 2 days later, after 2 days, we consult doctor with report, she said, it was normal, but she again took pus sample from ear and given it for microbiology department to check the bacteria, and after some time, she said bacteria present.  need to continue anti biotic medicine and follow up after 3 days. Now I am in little panic. She said, she will check ear after infection comes down and probably there might be a hole in eardrum. So, I was little panic.should I trust doctor and wait for the result . I want to know the second opinion.  She
