I recently posted about an infected ingrown nail but I didn't quite get the answer I was looking for, I don't think I explained very well, I have an infected ingrown toenail, when I went to my doctor he prescribed me with antibiotics but did not remove the ingrown nail, I asked does he not need to remove the nail and he said no. What should I do?

I need a picture to say whether u need to remove the nail.. if it's superficial u can trim the corners .. but if it's deep and bothering u very often then go for a removal
