Your daughters urticaria could be due to atmospheric inhaled allergens which were irritating nose to cause rhinitis & were also inducing urticaria . Since the nose spray is not only anti inflammatory to treat rhinitis but is also blocking the allergen interaction with nasal mucosa thus no histamine release & no urticaria . Since I superspecialised in Allergy by doing MD & PhD, we go to the root cause of problem & often use this approach to block the allergens at entry level to treat urticaria whenever we find such cause . This is the scientific explanation . It’s a useful treatment for this type of urticaria .
