DJ stent removal pain
During my RIRS surgery the pipe connected to my private part was removed without any pain removal medicine. The immediate pain was unbearable. Is it the normal way? The nursing staff removed it alone.

In RIRS your stone will be powdered with laser. Residual stone particles will be present in the kidney bladder and around your catheter, they might cause pain while removing the catheter. You need not worry. It will settle in a day or two. Hydrate yourself with more water and take the madications as suggested

Yes Catheter removal may lead to sensation of pain. No need to worry as all the medications required are already added in the discharge paper.
