Disc desiccation..cricketer..what to do?
MRI says:- disc desiccation involving L5-S1 intervertebral disc in the form of loss of normal T2 hyperintensity of the disc. Diffuse disc bulge with broad based right paracentral/foraminal disc protrusion noted at L5-S1 level with resultant ventral thecal sac and spinal canal narrowing at same level( AP dimension of spincal canal measures approx. 5.00mm). Bilateral neural foraminal narrowing also noted at L5-S1 level (R>L) with resultant compression of traversing and exiting nerve roots.
