Different btween plasma gulocose and CBG
I am 25 yr old . weight 75 kg...i cheak MY fasting in CbG machine after 9 hour,.. value 115 mg/dl. Today bt yesterday it was 99...no history of diabetes of mine...Cbg test is sufficient to diagnose my prediabetic ???..or chek it from laboratory in plasma glucose?? Actually there is any difference in plasma glucose and plasma glucose??? What can do??.. prevent diabetes

Capillary glucose is different from venous glucose , in the fasting state , this difference is negligible like 2-5mg/dl,  it can be higher in fed state.

Hello.. Capillary blood glucose and plasma blood glucose are not same their is some difference in readings so ideally for confirmation u do fasting and 2 hr plasma glucose along with Hb1Ac...!!
