Diet plan for twins(premature)

Hello doctors My twins were born on 22nd feb 2025 (premature) with weight 1.4 kg and 1.74 kg.My due date was 16 april. Right now they are of weight 5.75 kg and 5 kg.please provide me some diet plan for them like when is the good time to start solid for them,some activities for better and faster overall development.

Hi. Weaning foods are best started between 4 to 6 months of age. Generally we advise breast feed and if required top feed for preterms uptil 6 months and slowly start complementary feeding, initially liquids followed by semi solids and then solids. I hope you have visited your pediatrician and got your babies' development assessed. Neurodevelopmental followup is very important in preterms along with hearing and vision screening.
