Diet issue!
My mother was diagnosed with diabetes during covid since past 3 years she was on medication but her poor diet had the figures remains same. On an average of her recent test post breakfast levels fluctuates between 200-300. What is the ideal diet to be followed conditioning and in context to south indian habits.

Patient should avoid juices refined sugar maida bakery items, reduce rice , potato,sweet potato intake. Increase green vegetables, fruits, milk and milk products, sprouts
