Hello Practo User
Being a Clinical Dietician, I face these issues on daily basis. A proper Diet plan will help your mother to feel a little fresh and will give her strength and immunity too.
Anyway she is taking medicines .
Please include plenty of vegetables fruits and greengram sprouts.everyday in any form.
Use millets for more hydration and strength to the body than rice/ wheat.
Give enough water to drink, buttermilk also..,everyday.
Barley can also be used.

Hi
I can surely help you but not without one to one discussion as I don't know anything about your mother vitals , her whole medical history or her eating habits etc.
I would recommend you to have a one to one counselling session with me or any other expert for counselling session and get a personalized tips Or plans.
The random tips and plan can harm your mother health.
If you wanna meet me for a consultation through Skype or zoom during this pandemic time then you can call or WhatsApp at the number mentioned on my Practo profile.
Greetings for the day
I am happy to help you on this platform.
I will suggest you to have a denser meal. Includ semisoft porridge made of millets or cereal pulse combination like Khichdi with vegetables make it soft and mash it or Dal with roti or Millet can be given. Include vegetables added in form of soup, milk blended with dryfruits.
Hi,
She requires a diet which will provide energy and at the same time boost her immunity. If she doesn't have denture problem, she can able to eat semi solid diet to solid diet, because through the liquid diet all requirements can not be meet. Better you prepare one dish meal with soft texture that will be easy to digest ex: khichdi ( masoor & moong), soft poha, vegetable broth, curd rice, soft fruits like papaya, watermelon etc. Try to give small portion at a time instead of large meal.
Health Tips
If possible make her indulge to do little activity which will improve metabolism and function of vital organs.
Hello.
Your mother requires a balanced diet and supplements to help maintain weight and energy levels. She will face lot of muscle loss due to diabetes and the strong medication.
Make sure to include lot of fluids in between meals- buttermilk, milk, clear soups, Ragi porridge . Use fresh fruits and healthy home cooked food ONLY.
A detailed assessment is necessary to provide a suitable diet plan and supplement that works for your mother
