I am 25 year old I am diagnosed with 8mm stone having pain on left side and back. Is it serious to do operation or the stone will pass through medication.

Location of the stone and any signs of obstruction due to it would decide the treatment for you.
Next Steps
If pain persists then do a Ncct kub scan for further planning and discuss with an Urologist.
