Diagnosed with dengue as per report
My wife is suffering with dengue as per test report. Unable to confirm authenticity of report. Also doctor has given medicine GRENIL Tablet. Don't know the medicine is good or not. Attaching the report with this chat. Please advise what to do and report is ok or not. What is the platelets count and medicine is effective or not? Also as per Google GRENIL tablet only decreases body temperature. And this medicine is fever, pain, vomiting. But my wife has taken 3doses but no change has been observed in body. Please advise.

Let me tell you one thing, Google is not a doctor. If you want treatment, consult and follow what doctors say, if you want to do Google Google, then go somewhere else. Yes dengue test is positive. Grenil is for fever and it will manage symptoms. No antibiotics are required. Dengue is viral and it requires proper hydration and management of symptoms. So whatever has been prescribed is right, don't show your lack of knowledge by telling your Google research findings. Here's what is required further, Platelets is in normal range now but it may fall. You require doing platelet count everyday to monitor the platelet counts. Take medicines as prescribed by the doctor. Drink plenty of fluids, soft diet, and absolute bed rest.. Consult a physician in person for further evaluation and management. And one more thing, don't go with your Google research to the doctors we don't need that.
