Diabetic wound infected
My father has wound under his foot like a small hole. PUS was formed in that area. Small area became red.
Yesterday when we consulted a doctor he gave tetvac injection and said it was infected.
He gave few medicines like chymotas Forte,cilostazole, coenzyme q10 tablets and Healfast ointment. Please suggest me if we can have any other medication like opening the wound and dressing?
Before going to doctor we have applied turmeric to the wound.

If pus is being drained then it's not necessary to open the wound.
Daily dressing required along with topical and oral antibiotics
