My mother is 75 years old and she is suffering type 2 diabetic for long term. Is it safe for her to take covid vaccine? Or is there any complications observed for her age and medical conditions? Pls advice.

Hello Both covishield and covaxin can be taken. She might develop fever , bodyache but that is common for all and she will recover with Tab Dolo650mg , taken as per need. Pls montor her sugar level regularly at home with a glucometer. Stay home. Stay safe.

Yes, it is safe for her. You can go ahead and get her vaccinated without any second thoughts. Only she might develop fever or myalgia so watch out for that. Other than that no issues.
