Diabetic patient
My father age 70, diabetic patient, takes daily 30 unit insulin. His blood creatinine report was 1.02 before 6 months. Every time his creatinine stays close to 1. Last few days we can see swelling at his feet and fingers. I need your suggestion. Thank you.

Hello, What is the duration of diabetes and how is it’s control? Your father’s serum creatinine( which implies kidney function) might be normal but still he might be loosing proteins in urine because of Diabetes which can cause swelling of feet, so get complete urine examination, UPCR and eye examination done and review. Follow diabetic diet and medication adherence.
