Diabetic neuropathy
Hello sir age 35 my brother diabetic from past 6 years and now diagnoised with peripheral neuropathy in small age (mid age ) hes worried and depressed is there any reversable treatment for this and life span for neuropathy affected hes HBA1C level is 6.5%... Muscle also loss for him whats the treatment r any surgery required? Thank u

Hello Peripheral neuropathy due to diabetes is reversible completely if it's initial stages of onset. If it's long duration of poor glycaemic control it's partially reversible.. Symptoms and pain can be controlled with medications and proper glycaemic control. Medical therapy is sufficient.
