Diabetic nephropathy
My father is diabetic having high BP since 16 yrs n had been through brain stroke 9 apr 2015, We had been to CMC Vellore on 22nd of Aug 2016 n been diagnosed as: Chronic kidney disease stage 4 Non functioning Right kidney and poor functioning of Left kidney Hyperuricaemia Probable ischaemic nephropathy Type 2 diabetes Non - diabetic retinopathy Systemic hypertension Past history of CVA left hemiparesis Hypovitaminosis D e GFR 22.14ml/min/1.73M2 sugar (pp & fasting) and B.P. are normal now UREA 108 HBA1C 7.4 CREATININE 3.26 URIC ACID 10.9 Its my profound request to suggest all the possible ways to lead my father a normal healthy life!

Your father has multiple medical problems associated with diabetes. But , with the parameters that you have mentioned, i hope it is stable in comparison to the previous levels. He should be under regular follow-up of a diabetologist and a nephrologist. He would need constant adjustments on his medications to have a good quality of life.
