I have been diagnosed as insulin resistant. what exactly does this mean? Also, how have I got this? Am I a diabetic or not? Is this the reason I feel so tired all the time?

insulin resistance means that your body is unable to use the insulin that is produced in your body. The usual cause for insulin resistance is obesity and lack of physical exercise. You will need blood tests to know if you are a diabetic.Tiredness could be a symptom of diabetes. I would suggest to see a well qualified diabetologist for risk stratification and risk reduction
