Diabetes and unplanned pregnancy
Hello Doctor, I was diagnosed with diabetes, and we came to know this only after I got pregnant (4th) week and my hba1c was 10.5. My doctor immediately sent me to diabetics doctor and she immediately put me in insulin treatment and strict diet and on 6th week baby's heart beat was normal. And I started following diet and insulin treatment regular under the guidance of both the doctor. And all the scans done during pregnancy were normal. Finally delivered my baby in 37th week. And the baby was normal without any issues. Now she is 3.5 years old and everything looks normal. But still I feel stressed out sometimes thinking about the health of my baby. Should I check my baby for my symptoms or any other test to be taken? She appears to be normal for all these years. But still sometimes my pregnancy journey is making me few worried about my baby. Please advice how to make sure that my baby is good well.
