Development
My baby is preterm 35w+6d.he was affected by jaundice.i took mri brain for him.in tis under impression they noted as asymmetry of lateral ventricles;left>right.is it normal? Does it affect my baby brain development? Does he come up with normal baby? Plz clarify.thank you.

Wats your baby's age now? Development can be assessed depending upon baby's age only ma.

It is too early to comment on development. we will come to know gradually in 6 months time.
Next Steps
Consult a developmental pediatrician every month till 3 months and then every 2 months till 1 year of age.

Hi, We can’t tell whether the child will be normal or not with the MRI finding, we have to wait and assess the baby regularly.
