Detached toe nail
Just over half of my toe has completely detached from the toe and the rest of the nail still rests solid on the toe bed. I was just wondering what I do.

If there was a trauma then probably the nail is dead and is just shedding of and new nail would come but if it is insidious in nature then it can be fungal infection as it causes hypertrophic below the nail bed which seems to be like its coming off but it actually isn’t. History and ruling out other causes if any is important before the treatment.
