What’s the difference between deriphyllin and deriphyllin M? My boyfriend aged 25 was prescribed deriphyllin M while he earlier used to take just deriphyllin. Which one of the two drugs is safer and better?

Both are tablets and if he is using it for asthma, then inhalers are better than both tablets. Deriphyllin is used for making your airways bigger. Deriphyllin M contains additional medicine to control allergy. But you need to confirm if he really have allergy. Then plain montelukast 10 mg tablet is enough and no need of Deriphyllin
