Depression treatment
I am a working professional and have joined my first job 6 months ago. Post joining my job, I have started experiencing lots of stress. I am going through depression and am unable to figure out the exact reason behind this. The symptoms include: not able to sleep properly, sweating when I wake up, accelerated heartbeat (have not measured it but can feel it), lack of energy and a very hopeless mental state. I seriously want to come out of this phase but I have no idea how to cure this. Is medication the only answer to depression? In case yes, does the patient need to be on medication permanently or for very long periods of time? Other than medication, what are the other ways to tackle this disease?
