Depression,suicidal talks
I have a brother who talks that he has an alter ego which makes him do bad things, talk suicidal. He has left his therapy these days and the situation has become worse. He doesn't go to college any more and wants not to go anywhere just stay in his room. I am going home in diwali and he is pretty excited for the gift I am giving him. A ps4 as he loves gaming. Will a game related to psychosis help him recover or will make his situation even worse?

Hello! Please do not take any risk at this stage. From what u have told above. It seems like your brother is having schizophrenia like Illness. And it's also very vital that he gets back to his medication at a better place at once. Moreover since his actions are put of his own control and are secondary to hallucinations and delusion of control please do not take any risk. Ofcorse anything can be misinterpreted In psychosis. A simple game might make the situation worse. Please do not  neglect psychosis and suicidal ideas when he is psychotic
Next Steps
kindly consult a nearby psychiatrist asap. or send some more information via chat or meet myself In person  with your brother.
