I have suddenly started feeling low. I start crying all of a random and i don't know the reason. few things trigger me, I can't control it. I get angry at times. whom should I visit a psychologist or psychiatrist?

Kindly allow yourself permission to experience the emotions that are seeking for your attention and need to be addressed. Once you allow yourself the space to acknowledge and face the emotion as it is expressed, gradually, over time, you will be able to see the underlying concern that needs to be prioritized and addressed. Please don't be hard on yourself to come up with a quick fix to handle this. Rather, be as compassionate and gentle towards yourself as you would be towards your child or best friend. Also, taking breaks from your usual routine, as and when your system demands ( without expecting those moments to be ' productive ' ) will give you the much needed respite. Here is a breathing exercise that could help you : You may do this in the night once you have finished your tasks for the day : Inhale slowly to a count of four - hold your breath to a count of four - exhale slowly to a count of eight. Repeat this ten times. You may do this also in the morning before you begin your daily routine. Please set aside time for exercise daily and try to eat healthy every time. Our challenges that seem to threaten our very existence are the ones that serve as fuel for our evolution.
