Hello doctor, Being jobless, I am feeling down. I am trying to help myself by meditating but unable to concentrate for long. What to do to feel relaxed? Thank you

Hi, I can understand that you are feeling down because you are jobless currently. It is good that you are trying to help yourself with meditation.
Ask yourself, do you want to continue to feel this way? Obviously,no...
Try this simple change in your perceptions.
You are disturbed because you are focusing on what you don't have, ie. no job...
Try to shift your focus to all the things that are working in your life...like you have a house, parents , friends , hands, legs , eyes, a working brain....so many things you may take for granted. Feel grateful for all of these and focus on a future where you will get a job you like and where you can be successful!
It's possible for you to come out of this situation.
In case you are not able to feel better on your own, seek help from a professional either a Psychiatrist or a Psychologist who does counseling.

Hello..
You should try to do what you like to do...as in what interests you the more...if you like something please try to do that....because of the depression you are not able to concentrate on any thing.... consult a psychiatrist...thank you
