Depression, Constant fear of the world
I have been suffering from depression since 7 years, when I lost my father. Most unexplainable events happened in my life and now I realized I can't bear this pain anymore and realized I'm depressed and I feel a lot more unusual and abnormal around the society and people. Do you think I need to consult an psychiatrist? I want to negotiate with my mother but I believe she doesn't want me to consult any psychiatrists as she believes it is a place for unstable people. Loss of interest, decreased concentration and attention, feeling low and disturbed sleep or appetite are some of the signs of depression. Consult a psychiatrist who will assess you in detail. If you are feeling suicidal or hopeless, seek professional help immediately.
