Depran forte 20
Hello, I had been taking depran forte 20 for 3 months. From last 10 days I stopped it as I had the medical screening for one job. What are the withdrawal symptoms of it and how many days it lasts?...I am currently feeling tired, less energetic, sometimes dizzy. I have lot of dreams while sleeping which I never used to have even before starting the treatment. In between I took medical test as a normal routine checkup and found my Sgpt/sgot levels high so doctors suggested me to take Udiliv 150 for 7 days which I am currently taking. I don't have any fever, cold but I am feeling extremely tired. I am having have body ache in stomach, back and shoulders whenever I wake up. Feeling like there is no energy in body. What is it?...please explain me someone.

Depran Forte 20 is a brand name for the antidepressant medication Escitalopram, which belongs to the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) class of drugs. When you stop taking an SSRI suddenly or decrease the dosage abruptly, you may experience withdrawal symptoms. These symptoms can vary from person to person and can include: Flu-like symptoms: Fatigue, achiness, and general malaise. Dizziness or vertigo: Feeling lightheaded or having a spinning sensation. Sleep disturbances: Changes in sleep patterns, such as vivid dreams or insomnia. Mood changes: Anxiety, irritability, or mood swings. Gastrointestinal symptoms: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or stomach cramps. Withdrawal symptoms can start within a few days after stopping the medication and may last for a few weeks or longer. The duration and intensity of withdrawal symptoms can depend on various factors, including the duration of treatment and the individual's sensitivity to the medication. However, it's important to note that the symptoms you described, such as feeling tired, less energetic, dizzy, and having vivid dreams, could also be related to other factors. It's possible that the symptoms you're experiencing are not solely due to withdrawal from Depran Forte but could be influenced by other factors such as stress, lifestyle changes, or even the Udiliv medication you mentioned. If you're concerned about your symptoms, it's essential to consult with a healthcare professional who can provide you with an accurate diagnosis and appropriate advice. They will be able to evaluate your situation, take into account your medical history, and provide guidance tailored to your specific needs.
