Dental fillings
I'm 25 Sir,i had no pain on my teeth but i visited for teeth cleaning for first time.after cleaning dentist recommended for fillings in my teeth as she found caries and it was 6 of fillings required.She filled my two wisdom up and down and 7th molar down on left.On right she filled 7th up and down and 6th up and said it will stay 1 or 2 year. I was shocked and i checked prescription it was gic filling.i read on internet that it's not strong . I'm having high anxiety of loosing teeth

The choice of filling is decided by the dentist depending on cavity location, size and other factors . GIC may not be the wrong choice. Other available filling materials are Composites ,Silver amalgam.

Not a problem with gic fillings ... I think they were deep cavities so she must ha e put gic fillings ... You can go for a sandwich technique where a composite is layered on the gic filling  but that is after 5 months

Do nt worry. GIC fillings are the most commonly used restorative material. you could have opted for composites, but that would have depended on your dentists choice. do not worry
