It is not a dengue infection for now, can be positive after 2 days, so do the repeat test if advised by a doctor. However, only one test is not enough to rule out dengue infection. Most probably a viral fever, so encourage more liquids like ors, lemon water, coconut water etc Paracetamol to be given only if temp above 100F
