Dengue fever
It's 7th day of fever as it started on Friday evening. Today's platelete count was 54k and trend is reducing. Fever also keeps coming every 5-6 hrs in range of 100.. How do I track the progress now?? Is there any sign of progress or how should I know whether things are improving and we are doing right. She has been admitted since Sunday noon in Sakra hospital Bangalore. Please suggest.

Hello, Absolute bed rest. Plenty of heathy liquids as diet. Paracetamol tab eight hourly. Add citrus FRUITS LIKE ORANGE LEMON KIWI GOOSEBERRY HELPS IN increase in platlet COUNT. Papaya leaf extratract two times one tsf is very helpful. ONE ANTIBIOTIC to be added. Observe for rashes n platlet COUNT. You can contact treating doc for Condition of patient. Don't worry,you r in safe hand.ok.

In due time the fever will reduce and the platelet count will increase and normalize. Since your sister is already admitted in the hospital she's in safe hands.
