Hi doc,
I have thyroid and taking thyronorm 100mcg everyday. I am undergoing mental stress due to some problems as well. I goto sleep by 3 or 4 am and wake up only by 12noon.. Any amt of less sleep makes me drowsy n feel like sleeping again... I am afraid this is kind of depression. Please advise.

Hi I can understand your feeling of helplessness. There is a lot of variation in your hormones which is also causing you stress in different things , it may be a vice versa. due to your feeling of stress and anxiety may be you are not able to sleep at right time. But any time have you tried to over come the stress what you are experiencing. with one or two symptoms it can not be concluded as depression. Don't feel scared or to be afraid, please approach to psychologist / psychiatrist for analysis and get better guidance. stay positive take care
