Deciding factor for C3r
I went for eye checkup and the doctor diagnosed keratoconus in both eyes. Pentacam revealed Right eye: K max( front) - 48.8D Thinnest Patchy- 472 ųm Left Eye K max(front)- 50.5 D Thinnest Patchy- 472 ųm I consulted 2 doctors, one said immediate C3r , the other doctor told me to repeat pentacam report after 6 months and check for progression as my age is 22 and it was my first pentacam. I am confused what to do, please suggest whether should i go for c3r or not?

Kindly share your pentacam reports. Keratoconus is a progressive condition. Both doctors are right. Depending on your reports, it can be taken if progression is expected/documented. Frequent change of glasses are also a sign of progression.
