Limerence involves strong emotions in it more than anything else hence generating high expectations, intense attachment, obsessive thoughts & compulsive actions about the other person or relationship. When there is an emotional component playing the major role, there is not much scope for reasoning until emotions are vented, addressed or channeled. So you would need a competent professional to help you not just reason out your limerence as you are expecting here, but also help you understand your emotions better and master them to an extent through counselling. Good Luck.
