Hi Sir. You mentioned that you have dark skin on face which most probably is tan. For prevention of further progression of tan, you have to use sunscreen twice daily,that is once in the morning after bath (preferably around 8 AM) and once more at around 1 PM. Sunscreen should be applied 15 minutes before you go out and even if you are indoors you should do so. You can go for any depigmenting creams under supervision of a dermatologist.
